Mark Kozelek With Ben Boye and Jim White

Album Notes & Community Reviews

This sprawling collaborative effort pairs the prolific Sun Kil Moon frontman with keyboardist Ben Boye and Dirty Three drummer Jim White. The tracking abandons traditional song structures in favor of loosely improvised, jazzy instrumental vamps that back Kozelek's extensive, stream-of-consciousness spoken word narratives. The lyricism provides a hyperspecific, diary-like account of mundane touring life and existential anxieties.
