Album Notes & Community Reviews

Utilizing nylon-string classical guitar, the Red House Painters and Sun Kil Moon frontman compiled a starkly intimate collection of completely unaccompanied cover songs. Spanning a remarkably diverse range of artists from Godflesh and Danzig to Bruno Mars, Kozelek strips the source material down to its most somber, acoustic essence.
