Album Notes & Community Reviews

Straying from his characteristic blues-driven grunge roots, the veteran vocalist delivered a somber collection of covers spanning standards, obscure folk tunes, and contemporary rock cuts. Supported by sweeping, melancholic string arrangements, the record serves as an homage to his parents' record collection and highlights the gravelly, resonant depth of his baritone voice.
