Album Notes & Community Reviews

The debut full-length from the Dutch producer established a pivotal bridge between the rhythmic templates of UK dubstep and the soulful, high-tech pulse of Detroit techno. Recorded during his transition from drum and bass toward slower tempos, the arrangements prioritize spaciousness and intricate sub-bass foundations. It remains a landmark in the 'post-dubstep' era, credited with standardizing a more melodic and atmospheric approach to the genre.
