Album Notes & Community Reviews

Released on the highly collectable Joy label, this deeply obscure British folk album consists entirely of sparse, intimately recorded acoustic tracks. The vocalist's delicate, crystalline delivery navigates heavily traditional Scottish and English folk structures with an ethereal, almost eerie psychedelic atmosphere. It is widely revered by deep folk revival enthusiasts for its unadorned purity and haunting melancholy.
