Album Notes & Community Reviews

The visionary jazz guitarist leads a completely new quintet explicitly formed to interpret her original poetic lyrics alongside wildly complex, highly improvisational avant-garde arrangements. Featuring the elastic, dynamic vocal performances of Amirtha Kidambi, the dense, two-hour double album blends angular post-bop rhythms with surprisingly melodic, art-rock-adjacent songwriting. It is widely considered an incredibly daring, intellectually playful triumph of modern creative jazz.
