Album Notes & Community Reviews

On her fourth studio album, Mary J. Blige significantly matured her sound, heavily distancing herself from the sample-heavy hip hop soul of her early career. 'Mary' embraces highly polished, deeply soulful instrumentation and numerous high-profile guest appearances to highlight her incredibly powerful, remarkably passionate vocal performances.
