Album Notes & Community Reviews
The tenth and final studio entry in John Zorn's original Masada book concludes the quartet's groundbreaking fusion of Jewish musical traditions with Ornette Coleman-inspired free jazz. Driven by Joey Baron's kinetic percussion, the ensemble expertly navigates complex, tightly composed klezmer melodies before erupting into virtuosic, avant-garde improvisation.
