Album Notes & Community Reviews

Following the massive international success of their debut hit 'As the Years Go By', the Canadian rock quartet delivered a more ambitious, complex sophomore effort[cite: 1]. 'The Family' pushes Mashmakhan's sound deeper into progressive territory, utilizing extensive organ and flute interplay to anchor their increasingly sophisticated songwriting[cite: 1]. Despite possessing strong musical merit, the album failed to replicate their initial chart success, leading to an early disbandment[cite: 1].
