Album Notes & Community Reviews

The first part of a dark folk trilogy, 'Drinking Songs' sees Matt Elliott exploring Eastern European melodies and ghostly atmospheres. The music is slow, mournful, and incredibly dense, layering voices and instruments into a swirling fog. It is a soundtrack for the end of the night.
