Album Notes & Community Reviews

'Bad Contestant' is the debut studio album by British singer-songwriter Matt Maltese. The record presents a highly melodic, soothing collection of indie pop and chamber pop ballads driven by Maltese's crooning vocals and piano. Exploring themes of romance and millennial dread, it balances bittersweet sentimentalism with a sharply sarcastic wit.
