Album Notes & Community Reviews
Composed primarily on a kalimba and Rhodes piano during extended periods in North Wales and the coastal town of Anglesey, the Manchester trumpeter delivers a profoundly restorative spiritual jazz record. 'An Ever Changing View' integrates delicate nature recordings with gentle post-bop rhythms and sweeping, meditative ECM-style jazz arrangements. The album is incredibly peaceful, leaning heavily into the tranquil aesthetics of new age minimalism.
