Album Notes & Community Reviews

After years away from the music industry, the legendary Velvet Underground drummer recorded this charmingly primitive solo debut entirely in her own living room. Armed with a lo-fi cassette deck and playing most of the instruments herself, Tucker delivers a set of stripped-down, exuberant rock and roll covers. The DIY approach significantly predates and influenced the aesthetics of the anti-folk and slacker rock movements.
