Album Notes & Community Reviews

Captured at the peak of the iconic Rhode Island festival, this explosive set highlights the drummer's increasingly angular, forward-thinking approach to hard bop rhythms. The dense, heavily rhythmic arrangements dramatically stretch the structural capabilities of his highly influential quintet format.
