Album Notes & Community Reviews

Ben Jacobs' debut album is a staggeringly complex, hyperactive fusion of analog instrumentation and primitive digital sequencing software. 'Some Best Friend You Turned Out to Be' rapidly shifts between frantic tracker music rhythms, jazz-inflected keyboards, and dense indietronica. The entirely instrumental project established Tundra as a brilliantly quirky, unpredictable force within the experimental IDM landscape.
