This Material Moment

Album Notes & Community Reviews

'This Material Moment' delicately weaves traditional British folk vocal stylings with modern electronic manipulation and abstract soundscapes. Jayne Dent utilizes haunting, a cappella arrangements backed by subtle sub-bass, modular synths, and field recordings to create a distinctly anachronistic atmosphere. The album serves as a striking piece of folktronica that reimagines ancient storytelling through a lens of contemporary avant-garde production.
