Album Notes & Community Reviews
Attempting to follow the monumental, career-resurrecting success of 'Bat Out of Hell II', Meat Loaf delivers another highly theatrical, deeply conceptual rock opera. While primarily featuring the bombastic, piano-driven compositions of Jim Steinman, 'Welcome to the Neighborhood' notably includes songwriting contributions from Diane Warren. The album successfully maintains his signature over-the-top vocal delivery and massive, highly orchestrated arena-rock production.
