Album Notes & Community Reviews

Propelled to sudden fame following Nirvana's high-profile cover of their songs on 'MTV Unplugged', the Kirkwood brothers seized the moment with their most polished and commercially successful album. 'Too High to Die' cleans up their ragged, psychedelic country-punk origins into tightly structured alternative rock, yielding the massive crossover hit 'Backwater'.
