Album Notes & Community Reviews

For their final album of the decade, the quintessential American shoegaze outfit Medicine dials back their notoriously abrasive guitar noise in favor of more structured, highly melodic pop sensibilities. 'Her Highness' prominently features Beth Thompson's ethereal vocals soaring above thick, swirling layers of heavily effected, neo-psychedelic guitar work. The record provides a fascinatingly bright, deeply bittersweet conclusion to their initial run.
