Album Notes & Community Reviews

The acclaimed Espers vocalist relocates to San Francisco and delivers an incredibly intimate, masterfully subtle solo album of pastoral folk music. 'Don't Weigh Down the Light' relies entirely on her remarkably pure, unadorned vocal melodies and intricately finger-picked acoustic guitars, occasionally augmented by gentle piano flourishes. The resulting record is profoundly ethereal, deeply calming, and beautifully melancholic.
