Album Notes & Community Reviews

Producer Lost Perception rebuilt Nobuo Uematsu's 'Final Fantasy VII' score as the beat bed for 'Black Materia', sixteen tracks retelling the game's story in sequence in the voices of its characters. Released fourteen years to the day after the game's Japanese launch, it became Raheem Jarbo's commercial turning point, successful enough for him to leave his job as a middle-school teacher and pursue music full-time.
