Album Notes & Community Reviews
'Cryptic Writings' continues Megadeth's 90s shift towards highly melodic, radio-friendly heavy metal and hard rock. While dialing back their thrash intensity, Dave Mustaine delivers energetic, introspective, and frequently angry anthems that maintain the band's signature rebellious edge.
