Album Notes & Community Reviews
Fueled by immense anger and a desire for revenge after his firing from Metallica, Dave Mustaine formed Megadeth and delivered this blisteringly fast debut. The album suffers from notoriously raw, low-budget production, but more than compensates with incredibly technical, hyper-aggressive guitar riffs and a fiercely rebellious energy. It is a dark, wildly intense, and highly technical foundational thrash metal record.
