Album Notes & Community Reviews
Recorded during a tumultuous, chaotic period of severe band addiction and lineup changes, this album captures Megadeth at their most raw, angry, and abrasive. It features blinding, aggressive speed metal riffs interspersed with fiercely political, rebellious, and dark lyricism spearheaded by Dave Mustaine. Though rougher and less refined than its immediate predecessor, it retains a vicious, energetic intensity that perfectly embodies late-80s thrash metal.
