For the Fallen

Album Notes & Community Reviews

Formed following the death of Bolt Thrower drummer Martin Kearns, this British supergroup was intended as a tribute to their fallen bandmate and the classic old-school death metal sound. The incredibly heavy and aggressive riffing incorporates the slow, crushing atmosphere of death doom metal, focusing on themes of war and mortality. It serves as a respectful and incredibly energetic continuation of the mid-tempo, grinding death metal style.
