Album Notes & Community Reviews
The Canadian synthpop outfit rebounded from a brief commercial slump with an ambitious, highly melodic concept album tracking a fictional musical group. 'Pop Goes the World' expands their electronic sound with lush, symphonic orchestrations and profoundly upbeat, optimistic melodies. The title track became an enduring international hit, reaffirming Ivan Doroschuk's knack for infectious pop songwriting.
