Album Notes & Community Reviews
Merauder's debut, 'Master Killer', is a foundational 1990s metalcore album that merges the street-level aggression of New York hardcore with the punishing weight of thrash and groove metal. Produced by Parris Mayhew of the Cro-Mags, the recording is defined by its immense guitar tone, rhythmically charged songwriting, and the distinctively deep, commanding vocals of frontman Jorge Rosado. The album's synthesis of metallic riffing and hardcore's mosh-centric structure became a significant touchstone for the genre.
