Album Notes & Community Reviews
Transitioning significantly from their early, noise-drenched post-punk origins, the Florida quintet fully embraces highly polished, heavily melodic 1980s-style alternative rock. 'After the End' utilizes remarkably bright, jangle-pop guitar riffs and Carson Cox's deeply resonant, Morrissey-esque baritone to craft massive, stadium-ready pop hooks. The album is a wonderfully playful, deeply romantic, and undeniably catchy stylistic reinvention.
