Album Notes & Community Reviews

The celebrated bassist and vocalist constructs an incredibly lush, profoundly poetic tribute to the literary genius of James Baldwin. Swirling seamlessly between deeply conscious, political jazz poetry and intensely passionate, slightly psychedelic progressive soul, the incredibly soft arrangements remain breathtakingly abstract. 'No More Water' is a masterful, highly spiritual fusion of art pop and R&B.
