Album Notes & Community Reviews

Meshuggah's debut album is a dense, deeply complex exploration of Metallica-influenced technical thrash metal before they fully developed their signature djent sound. 'Contradictions Collapse' relies on highly aggressive, rhythmic stop-start riffs and frantic uncommon time signatures to deliver heavy, apocalyptic political anger.
