Album Notes & Community Reviews

Moving slightly away from the frenetic math-metal of 'ObZen', 'Koloss' emphasizes groove and slower, crushing tempos. The down-tuned guitars churn like massive machinery, creating a sound that is oppressive and physically heavy. It solidifies Meshuggah's status as the architects of modern extreme metal rhythm.
