Album Notes & Community Reviews

'MM..FOOD' is a concept album built around an elaborate theme of food, using culinary references and double entendres to explore street life and the rapper's supervillain persona. Primarily self-produced, the album's sonic landscape is a collage of hard-hitting, jazz-inflected beats and vocal samples from cartoons and films, with key contributions from producers Madlib and Count Bass D. Through intricate, multi-syllabic rhymes and a characteristically relaxed delivery, MF DOOM solidifies the record as a benchmark of creative cohesion and witty lyricism in his discography.
