Album Notes & Community Reviews

The inaugural installment of an expansive instrumental series, 'Special Herbs, Vol. 1' highlights MF DOOM's incredibly unorthodox ear for obscure sampling. The album consists of dusty, repetitive loops and mellow jazz-rap beats that create a hypnotic, deeply urban psychedelic atmosphere.
