Album Notes & Community Reviews

Continuing his massive commercial dominance, Michael Jackson delivered a remarkably sleek, aggressive dance-pop record characterized by punchy synth-funk basslines and sharp rhythmic hooks. 'Bad' explores darker, more urban themes than his previous work while retaining an incredible ear for uplifting, radio-ready melodies and pristine studio production. The album spawned an unprecedented five consecutive number-one singles, cementing his status as the King of Pop.
