Album Notes & Community Reviews

The first posthumous studio album features material recorded at various stages between 1982 and 2010, contemporized by producers like Teddy Riley and Akon. The recordings balance soaring anthems like 'Hold My Hand' with darker, more alienated tracks that address his complex relationship with the media. It represents a controversial but significant archival effort to preserve his final vocal stems within a high-gloss, contemporary pop production frame.
