Album Notes & Community Reviews

The Wandelweiser-affiliated avant-garde composer enlists the vocal talents of Julia Holter for this incredibly sparse, demanding piece of musical poetry. Translating German texts into prolonged, hushed vocal tones interspersed with minute field recordings of nature, the album is a profound exercise in absolute acoustic reductionism.
