Album Notes & Community Reviews

Operating as one of the few prominent violinists in the avant-garde jazz movement, the former John Handy collaborator delivered a deeply meditative and transcendental solo outing. Issued on the Impulse! label, the heavily improvisational sessions utilize African percussion and soaring, unconventional string techniques to evoke a profound, spiritually charged atmosphere.
