Album Notes & Community Reviews
The virtuosic French clarinetist and saxophonist assembled an international group of heavyweights, including Mino Cinelu, for a highly vibrant, rhythmic exploration. 'Turbulence' intertwines frantic avant-garde improvisation with deeply hypnotic, tropical percussion grooves. The album stands out in his catalog for its remarkably playful energy and successful fusion of complex European free jazz with global rhythmic structures.
