Album Notes & Community Reviews
Michelle Branch's self-produced independent debut, 'Broken Bracelet' collects songs she wrote at fourteen and fifteen, before her Maverick signing reframed several of them for a major-label audience. Financed by her parents and titled for a bracelet made by Jewel and passed to Branch by Steve Poltz with the prophecy that fame would follow its breaking, the album already contains 'Goodbye to You' in early form.
