Album Notes & Community Reviews
This monumental collaboration strictly pairs the isolationist electronics of Scorn's Mick Harris with the legendary, heavily dub-inflected bass production of Bill Laswell. 'Somnific Flux' is an incredibly dense, entirely beatless journey through terrifyingly dark, highly aquatic ambient soundscapes. The album operates perfectly as an immersive, highly cinematic exercise in deep-frequency tension and release.
