The Wildest Guitar

Album Notes & Community Reviews

Stepping away from his massively successful vocal duo Mickey & Sylvia, the highly prolific session guitarist delivers an entirely instrumental masterclass in early rock technique. 'The Wildest Guitar' highlights his incredibly stinging tone, rapid-fire rhythmic comping, and highly advanced jazz-inflected chord voicings. The blistering, unhinged performances profoundly influenced the impending development of surf rock and the vocabulary of electric blues guitarists worldwide.
