Album Notes & Community Reviews

Operating heavily within the communal orbit of the San Francisco psychedelic scene, 'Rolling Thunder' finds the percussionist leading a massive ensemble of rock and jazz luminaries. The music frequently devolves into sprawling, rhythmic jams that prioritize eclectic studio experimentation over traditional song structures. It serves as an artifact of the uninhibited, cross-genre collaborative spirit permeating Northern California at the time.
