Album Notes & Community Reviews
Recorded in a state of creative desperation, the Norwegian trio traveled to the United States to collaborate with producer Chris Eckman of The Walkabouts. The resulting sessions yielded a lush, devastatingly sad masterwork of slow-burning Americana, heavily colored by Paal Flaata's resonant, mournful baritone and sweeping string arrangements.
