Album Notes & Community Reviews
Though hailing from Norway, the critically acclaimed trio traveled to the United States to record this lush, deeply atmospheric album with producer Chris Eckman. 'Unsung Heroine' expertly blends sweeping, cinematic chamber pop orchestration with a stark, slowcore interpretation of Americana. The record's profoundly melancholic mood and elegant arrangements earned it a widespread reputation as a hidden gem of turn-of-the-century European roots music.
