Album Notes & Community Reviews

Backed by her band Southern Star, this album sees Mikaela Davis fully embracing a lush, atmospheric, and psychedelic sound. 'And Southern Star' is a masterful exercise in cosmic country and Americana, where her signature harp playing intertwines beautifully with classic country instrumentation like pedal steel. It's a mellow, pastoral, and bittersweet record that creates a dreamy, transportive soundscape.
