Album Notes & Community Reviews

Genesis bassist Mike Rutherford's highly successful pop-rock project delivers another collection of polished, incredibly radio-friendly anthems. 'Beggar on a Beach of Gold' relies heavily on the powerful, dual-vocal attack of Paul Carrack and Paul Young, wrapping deeply romantic lyrical sentiments in lush, synthesizer-heavy production. The massively successful title track solidified the band's continued relevance on 90s adult-contemporary radio.
