Anchored by its deeply sentimental and globally successful title track, the sophomore effort by Mike Rutherford's side project delivered polished, arena-ready pop rock. Thematically, much of the work deals with concepts of grief, unresolved familial tension, and personal regret, heightened by the vocal performances of Paul Carrack and Paul Young. It firmly established the supergroup's viability separate from the legacy of Genesis.
