Album Notes & Community Reviews

Formed as a deliberate side project by Genesis bassist Mike Rutherford, this highly polished debut seamlessly blended arena rock bombast with sophisticated, soul-inflected pop. The album notably utilized dual lead vocalists, Paul Carrack and Paul Young, to deliver massive, incredibly slick radio-friendly hooks. Buoyed by huge international singles like 'Silent Running' and 'All I Need Is a Miracle,' the group achieved unexpected, massive commercial success completely independent of their primary bands.
