Album Notes & Community Reviews

Mike Doughty's first solo release, 'Skittish' was recorded in a single day with producer Kramer at Noise New Jersey and mixed the following day, after Warner Bros. rejected the songs for Soul Coughing's 'Irresistible Bliss'. Stripped to voice and acoustic guitar, the songs circulated first as the Napster-era 'Skittish Sessions' and then as white-label CDs Doughty sold at gigs and online, some twenty thousand copies.
