Album Notes & Community Reviews

Drawing inspiration from Petrine Archer-Straw鈥檚 book analyzing 1920s Parisian infatuation with Black culture, the avant-garde emcee and producer delivers a highly intellectual conceptual work. The complex spoken-word poetry and abstract hip-hop verses are set against a frantic backdrop of free jazz instrumentation and futuristic electronic dissonance.
